Alibaba Group-Fliggy-Senior Key Account Manager-Korea
The main objective is to initiate, develop and grow Fliggy’s partnerships with major accommodation providers in a given geography, and to ensure that Fliggy’s customers find the most suitable travel offering for their next holiday. The successful candidate will work with key hotel partners to maximize their opportunity on Fliggy and Alibaba ecosystem through a variety of relevant and competitive products and solutions, and will exceed the acquisition expectations and revenue KPIs that form a critical part of Fliggy’s business goals.
Acquire and develop partnerships with relevant high potential hotels/hotel groups
Progressively expand the footprint and scope of these collaborations overtime
Negotiate and secure global distribution agreements, and facilitate the onboarding and roll-out operations
Initiate, drive and coordinate partner strategy and execution on Fliggy
Develop and execute account plans and initiatives to maximize hotel partner performance with Fliggy’s customer base in China
Ensure product and operational health (product types, content, rates, availability, rates, inventory, etc.) is consistently optimized and competitive
Develop and nurture strong partner relationships to grow presence and sales
Identify and upsell marketing opportunities
Ensure operational goals are achieved as well as product/price competitiveness
Secure exclusive deals for strategic promotional activities, such as Chinese New Year, Singles’ Day, etc.
Drive continuous feedback to improve market fit and product localization. Prepare and present high-quality reports on a regular basis.
Initiate and host partner events
Represent Fliggy in the local market and build profile with key influencers in the travel industry (tourism bureau, hotel association, conference organizers, etc.)
Participate in regular meetings with senior management to coordinate on strategic planning and objectives, and to review market performance
Deliver upon KPIs set by Fliggy leadership
Share and seek out best practices and knowledge and ensure teamwork with subordinates, superiors, peers and colleagues across departments
To be a successful candidate, you should bring strong analytical abilities and a successful track record of performance in establishing and developing profitable long-term partnerships.
5+ years of experience in key account and relationship management with a track record in developing strategic partner growth in ecommerce or online travel.
Fluent in spoken and written English and Mandarin Chinese
