Alibaba-PR Manager（APAC Corporate）-Hong Kong
•Manage and execute global and local market announcements and media activities from strategy development to execution that will drive awareness of Alibaba Group’s businesses amongst regional and APAC media.
•Develop and implement strategic media relations programs to achieve significant increases in awareness of the Alibaba brand.
•Work with PR agency/other local partners across APAC markets to support campaign executions including press release drafting, proactive media outreach, development customer case studies, etc.
•Develop and cultivate relationship with regional and in-market media in various APAC markets
•Organize and support press briefings, media sessions, and events in China as well as in other APAC markets.
•The ideal candidate should have five to eight years of experience working with world class brands. Prior experience in journalism is a plus.
•Demonstrate strong relationships with tier one business news and/or consumer media that include reporters and editors, editorial pages and broadcast media in at least one market in Asia.
•Must be able to work independently on communications plan for specific business development to maximize media coverage in APAC markets.
•Must have a strong understanding of Alibaba and its businesses and able to connect effectively with the various business units of the company.
•Self-motivated, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, high flexibility and adaptability in working with teams from different cultural background.
