Our interdisciplinary and international team is based in Hangzhou, China and Bellevue (WA), USA. English is AQL's sole working language.
We are a full stack R&D program with an emphasis on building hardware and systems of superconducting quantum computers. Outstanding candidates from all central areas of quantum computing are welcome to apply. For the 2019 hiring, priorities will be given to device-level theory and simulation, error-correction, quantum computer architecture, and experimental solid-state physics. Our measurement lab will be completed in early 2019. While we currently use our partners' facilities for fabrication, we will enjoy our own dedicated, well-equipped cleanroom, which is already under construction.

AQL is committed to the task of building a quantum computer for solving the computational challenges in real-world problems. As a Quantum Scientist, you will work in a multifunctional team to solve various scientific and engineering problems on the implementation of quantum computing with superconducting circuits. This position is based in Hangzhou.
•Develop high-performance quantum hardware based on superconducting circuits, including design, fabricate, test, and analyze superconducting quantum devices.
•Perform fundamental researches on fault-tolerant quantum systems based on superconducting circuits.
•Work with the other team members on setting up a new lab.
•Demonstrate a record of research accomplishments in one or more of the following areas: experimental quantum computing, quantum error correction, superconducting device, low-temperature physics, microfabrication, and microwave electronics.
•Strong software engineering skills related to data acquisition, experimental design, and data analysis.
